Frank, Mr. Fluffy, Jake from State Farm, and Ronald are planning to plant a garden. They need to figure out how much soil to buy in order to fill the old planter boxes they have leftover from “who knows when”.

They have the formula to figure out volume written in their notebooks.

They will make a new blog post telling how much soil they need, plus a picture or 2 of their planter box.

After you have figured out the volume for each box, research how much soil you will need to buy, as well as the total cost.

Put that information into your blog post as well.

As they started, some questions came up:

1. Should we have gloves?

2. What should we grow?

We have been back to school now for 2 days! Hopefully you are excited about the very real possibility of getting A's and B's in your classes for term 3.

Don't delude yourself though! It's hard work. It's going to require you to "get in the dirt" daily. You are going to have to ask for help, to think, and to make hard decisions.

Keep up the good attitudes, the willingness to put in the work, and try to leave class each day knowing that you did your best!
