We've also been exploring using digital Pen Tablets to draw and paint directly on photos the students have taken. They were able to create customized, textured brushes in Photoshop and layer colors over the images in creative ways. Some students even animated their drawings as GIFS that change colors and move - cool stuff.

February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

Some recent projects from the Digital Photo B class!

First, the students were invited to work with local non-profit RISE SLO in order to raise awareness of resources for Teen Dating Violence Prevention Month. RISE asked the students to create a photographic image in response to their presentation on the services that RISE provides and help that is available to prevent dating violence. Their images will be printed and displayed at the upcoming Art After Dark even on March 6th.
