Week 8 Notes Station
This week, I am interrupting this blog post with a special announcement. Please click the link and watch the following video!
1. Please make sure you have all of the notes in your brain book from last week. You can find them by clicking here.
2. From the same blog post, complete each section of practice problems from last week and turn them in to the inbox on my desk.
For Tuesday and Wednesday, you will need a new sheet of paper, titled "Comparison Problems".
For these problems, you will need to write 2 equations total. You will write one equation for each sentence. Use your brain book to help you.
a) The handlebars weigh 5 pounds. The frame weighs 12 pounds more than the handlebars.
b) The dryer ran for 40 minutes. The washer ran 20 minutes longer than the dryer.
c) The bow shot 200 feet. The catapult shot 100 feet further than the bow.
d) The android battery lasts 26 hours. The iphone battery lasts 3 hours longer than the android battery.
e) The couch is 8 feet long. The couch is 3 feet longer than the loveseat.
