  • Make a timeline in your BrainBook (BB021) 20 years long
  • Using the Table on Page 79, identify life changes along your Timeline and Fishbone them (including the numbers).
  • Add up all of your numbers and rate yourself using the scale at the bottom of page 79.

Big Picture/Main Point:
Health knowledge is useless without positive health behavior. Sometimes though, people don’t even know they are being unhealthy because they aren’t even aware of the consequences of their daily choices.

Since class began, I’ve been trying to make the classroom environment fun and emotionally safe, show you several methods to use when you research information, and get you to examine what is important to you at this time in your life, by writing goals for your future.

Today you will dive into your past a little bit. This can be hard for some people. Only go as far as you are comfortable. Some events in our lives stay hidden to other people for a long time. The point of this exercise is to gain an understanding of our levels of stress, not to try to make anyone sad or embarrassed.
